How To Create A Yahoo Account Or Email Address Without A Phone Number
You must enter a second email address or a phone number when setting up a Yahoo account. This requirement aids in preventing account theft and the establishment of fake accounts. Additionally, it aids in account recovery. There are ways to register an account without providing Yahoo with your phone number if you don't want to.

Create an Account With Google
Without using your actual phone number, you can create a Yahoo account using one of three techniques. Yahoo has two distinct email-based solutions built in to get around the need for a phone number. There may be a phone number option if they do not work for you.
Users who already have a Google account can open a Yahoo account without providing a phone number. Many websites and businesses are able to instantly sign up users using Google credentials thanks to Google. This connects the two accounts, ups the level of protection, and prevents you from having a large password collection.
To link your Google account to a new Yahoo account:
Click the sign-in button in the top right corner of Yahoo.
Click the Google logo at the bottom of the sign-in box.
You will be prompted to confirm the Google account you wish to use if you are logged into your Google account on the device. If not, a prompt to log into your Google account will appear.
You'll be taken to a screen where you may verify your name and birth year. After entering this data, click "Next."
At the bottom of the confirmation screen, click "Done."
Your Yahoo account is now fully accessible, and you can use it right away. Yahoo Mail allows you to send and receive email, but you won't have a @yahoo.com email address.
Create an Account With an Email Service
If you don't already have a Google account, you can set one up using a different email service like Hotmail or Outlook. To create a new account with a different email, adhere to the directions below
Click the sign-in button in the top right corner of Yahoo.
Select "Create an Account" by clicking the button at the bottom of the sign-in box.
On the account page's bottom, click "My Email."
Type in your full name, the email address you want to use, and the year of your birth. Press "Next."
Your used email will receive a verification message. Press "Continue" after pasting the code from that email into Yahoo.
To generate a new password and complete account creation, follow the on-screen instructions.
After creating the account, you can start using Yahoo services right away. Always keep in mind that doing this simply creates an account; it does not provide a @yahoo.com email address. The Yahoo Inbox can still be accessed without a @yahoo.com email address, though. Your email account will begin automatically forwarding emails from the address you used to create it to Yahoo Inbox.
Keeping Your Phone Number Private
Users have many good reasons to not want Yahoo to know their phone numbers. Yahoo makes it hard to make an account because you need a phone number or another email address. Most internet phone numbers, however, can help you get around that rule.
