This is a fundraiser for Geek Parties of the Grand Valley & Geek Parties Theater, specifically The Poe Project and The Summer Shakespeare Series, which should not be surprising based on the name.. GPGV is a registered Colorado non-profit corporation.
Team size: 2-8 people If you don’t have a partner, find one at the event.
Age range: All ages! If your toddler wants to throw things, pin things, or walk in our race, they're welcome to. The facility is accessible.
You will register your team as
Team Poe or Team Shakespeare
Your points earned will contribute to your author's team, and the author with the most points will have a plaque added to the PVS trophy.

Gemini Trivia, 2022
Your Quizmaster is Kristian Hartter, a certified Poe Geek and Beer Geek (sometimes co-host of the Poe Podcast and Grand Valley Beer Geek Radio), who does trivia every week at a couple establishments in town (and for MCPLD's ComicCon! this guy's trivia and geek resumes overlap a LOT).
Our Versus trivia will follow the same format as his standard trivia

Costuming for Cannibal the Musical, Taming of the Shrew, Importance of Being Earnest, and A Christmas Carol all by Sienna Hayes for Geek Parties Theater. All other costumes by the cosplayer or performer.
Protective footwear is required for all guests.
All military, law enforcement, and other emergency service costumes should be easily distinguishable from official uniforms.
Hate symbols, even historical hate symbols like swastikas, will not be tolerated at the event.
Roller blades, roller skates, and skateboards will not be allowed.
All prop weapons must be checked at the door and tagged by event staff. Tag must remain on the prop for the duration of the event.
Prop weapons MUST be rendered completely inoperable, clearly distinguishable at a cursory glance from a real weapon, and totally, utterly incapable of harming the cosplayer or another person. Projectile weapons of any sort are strictly forbidden. Firearm props must have a clearly visible orange cap on the barrel. Metal and ceramic weapons are not allowed (including bladed weapons, swords, knives, or sharpened edges of any kind). Prop weapons must be made of lightweight materials such as foam, cardboard, or plastic. Sharpened edges of any kind are not allowed, including on armor, shields, or other tools. Bats and heavy blunt instruments (cricket, baseball, golf clubs, paddles, furniture legs, etc) are not allowed.
Props may not be brandished in a threatening manner.
Failure to abide by these guidelines may result in guests being asked to leave the event.

Team Poe participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer's, and The Poe Project held a private event at Aspen Ridge Memory Care for residents and their families.
