This season we applied in 4 Online Challenges as this is one of the paths leading us to VEX Worlds.
These were:
STEM Research Challenge (whole team)
VEXCode VR Skills (By Vivaan and Avi)
Career Readiness (By Felix and Aarav)
Reverse Engineering (By Dev)
1st March- We got finalists for our STEM Research submission. See below...
STEM Research Challenge- Burst Guard.
This is 21549A's submission for the 2023-2024 STEM Research Challenge, Burst Guard, about the Science of Water Conservation using Nano-technology in water pipe leakages where 624 million litres of water is lost daily in London alone!
VR VEXCode Skills
This is 21549A's submission for the 2023-24 VR VEXCode Skills Challenge for VEX IQ Middle School.
In our submission, we walk through our code and route, which scored 90 points and ranks 8th in the World! We also discover how we used sensors on the Hero Bot, Byte; variables; and advanced coding techniques in our code.
Career Readiness
In our career readiness submission, we delved into the job of a data scientist in Google Cloud and compared it to our design process in VEX, demonstrating how VEX helps us develop skills for this job even if it does not include building physical robots!
Reverse Engineering Challenge- Pixel Watch
This is 21549A's submission for the 2023-2024 Reverse Engineering Challenge.
We delved into the internals of this spectacle of a first generation watch and discovered many new lessons which can be transferred to our robot development in the competition.
