Update from Illinois FTC State Championship! (1st Update to the Website)
As a third year team, the Welded Warriors advanced to the State Championship for the "FIRST" time! This is after earning the Connect Award at our 'Sou/Cen/Wes' Regional Qualifier. We are thankful to have been recognized for the many outreach opportunities we've had with our community! At the State Competition, we earned 2nd place for the Motivate Award! This was a wonderful conclusion to an amazing season amidst the COVID pandemic, which took two months away from the middle of our season and took away many in-person opportunities related to building & fundraising. A couple weeks from today, March 28th, we will resume our meetings and work towards our outreach opportunities - especially the Marching Band's robot.
