Student data is so much more than test scores. Individual data points do not tell the entire story of a student's academic journey but when they all come together, data empowers everyone to help students reach their academic potential. Looking at GCA's data and learning together will help us:
Increase productivity through better understanding and skills at all levels of expertise through modules with varying levels of skill
Be able to work more independently to gather and utilize data
Improve the quality of data gathered and research conducted by improving understanding and processes
Improve student outcomes due to better data and research, thus better policies, decisions, and allocation of resources
Improve processes as we gather data (daily,) conduct research, and make decisions based on our data gathered from SIS, state reporting, and student data from LMS and surveys.
As we counsel our students using their data, the data will allow us to be effective advisers to our students, drive decision-making, and create processes and policies (and reallocate resources) to better and more effectively and efficiently serve our student population.
