These programs encourage students to learn how to use technology responsibly and efficiently, they also help to develop and enhance technological skills.

Typing.com is a program helps to teach students proper typing skills at their own pace. Students can do the standard lessons that progress with increased difficulty as they master key placement on the keyboard. They can also test their skills with challenging practice exercises, eventually expanding to words, sentences, and paragraphs. After each completed screen, students can see their word-per-minute (WPM) and accuracy percentages and star ratings. There are also timed tests. The program goes into greater depth of technology usage through additional content on how to use a computer, online safety and behavior, time management, formatting correspondence and reports, and coding essentials.

Edpuzzle is a web-based interactive video and assessment tool that lets users develop lessons and projects from existing online videos and add content meet the users specific goals. Teachers and students can search the library or upload their own videos to customize them with voice-overs, audio comments, embedded assessment questions, and additional resources. This program enables students to find online video content and customize it in a way that demonstrates their learning. This program helps teach students how to manipulate and modify online videos for their specific task or goal.

Common Sense Education is a program that teaches students about digital citizenship skills and the importance of being a good digital citizen. Students learn about the challenges and dilemmas that students encounter in the digital world. It gives them the tools to succeed as digital learners, and digital citizens tomorrow. Students learn that with increased exposure and use of technology there are also increased situations and responsibilities that they need to be taught to handle. The format of this program includes lessons, videos, games and offline activities.
