Sunday School - Gospel Doctrine Classes - 10:05am - 10:30am
We invite you to attend your choice of 2 Gospel Doctrine classes offered in the chapel and the Relief Society room. Choose the environment that you like the best. In the chapel, we ask that participants sit towards the center front rather than spread throughout the chapel, as you are comfortable. This will help us hear each other better.
Our 4 excellent teachers (plus Beth Ashton, our permanent substitute) will rotate through both locations on a monthly basis: Sandy Willis, Hunter Lansing, Dale Rogers, and Bryce Olsen.
To facilitate a robust lesson, please transition to Sunday School quickly after sacrament meeting. Talk with your neighbor as you walk. Follow the example of our primary children and youth who run to class after sacrament! To end on time, we will ring a 3 minute bell at 10:27am and a final longer bell at 10:30am.
Sunday School - Gospel Principles/Foundations Class - 10:05am - 10:30am
Gayton ward also offers a Gospel Principles/Foundations class every week for adults. Please reach out to a member of the Sunday School Presidency if you want more information.
Sunday School - Youth Classes - 10:05am - 10:30am
The youth will meet In the Young Women's Room and assigned class rooms.
Lesson Materials:
Lessons will be discussions based on Come Follow Me for the previous week. Please take time to study the material during your personal scripture study before class. You will have a happier week and be closer to the Spirit as you do.
The new 25 minute lessons are meant to help members: 1) Focus more on the teachings of Jesus Christ. 2) Strengthen gospel learning at home. 3) Increase fellowship, belonging, and community at church. This is more than a schedule change; it is an invitation to joyful, Christ-centered worship—renewing our home-centered, Church-supported pattern and strengthening covenant belonging.
