We are pleased to announce the next course schedule for the Multi-Stake self-reliance classes for 2026, please see the Announcements page for details.
The youth are hosting our 4th Annual Foster Families Night Out—an evening of fun and friendship for foster children and their siblings from all over Henrico. Please help us make the night extra special by providing a nourishing meal.
With our youth and leaders, we will be serving approximately 90 people. Please use the sign-up link below to participate.
Food contributions may be dropped off at the church between 3:30–4:00 PM on Saturday, February 21, or you may contact Bethany at 224-612-1040 if you need her to pick up your contribution. Thank you for your support!
Youth & Leaders:
Youth will arrive at 3:30 and will serve until 7:30pm on Feb 21st. Please RSVP using the link below so we can ensure we have enough youth for each foster child to have a buddy. Leaders will help facilitate the various stations and the overall flow of the evening, so an accurate head count is important. Thank you!
On Tuesday, February 24th each of the stakes in Virginia have been invited to participate in a "Day at the Capitol" in Richmond Virginia. The purpose of this event is to introduce stake leaders-Stake President, Stake Relief Society Presidency, and Stake Communications Council to share with those elected officials more about the members and activities of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in their area.
To make this day happen they are looking for volunteers to shuttle in the morning and afternoon those attending to and from the Capitol building via the Grace Street church building. Please take a look at the signup genius to see if you would be able to help. Thanks so much for your willingness to help in such an important day as we continue to be peacemakers in our community.

Dear Gayton Ward,
Our ward will be responsible for cleaning our church building for eight months during 2026 as we are on a four-month rotation with the Innsbrook Ward. We will clean January through April and September through December. The first schedule is noted below. The second session schedule will be provided later in 2026.
We are working to minimize the number of households who will be asked to clean twice, although some will be needed. To help with this, we have scheduled just four households to clean each week. Given this, it is very important that you help on your assigned date. If you have a conflict with the schedule, please exchange dates with another household.
We will continue with our practice of cleaning on Friday evenings beginning at 6:00 p.m., although some work could be done on Thursday evenings or Saturday mornings if needed. Evan Anderson, Jerry Powers, and Eric Thorpe will be at the building as noted on the schedule to supervise the cleaning.
The Pump Road building is where we meet together to worship our Savior each week. We can all do our part to help keep the building clean and presentable.
Thanks,
Brother Duncan

The Bishopric would like everyone to review and update their photo and other information in the ward directory. This can be done through the website or the member tools app. If you would like an updated photo, Brother John Davidson will be bringing his camera equipment and taking individual and family group photographs in the Young Women's room on Sunday Mar 10 between 11:10 am and 12:20 pm. You will be provided a copy of the photos for individual use and we encourage you to upload these to the ward directory if you do not currently have a photo. [Ward technology specialists can help you upload your photo if you need assistance.] This is a great time to ensure that phone numbers and email addresses are also up to date. Brother Davidson will be collecting any information that needs to be changed and providing that to the ward clerk. Just stop by the Young Women’s room and let him know what change(s) need to be made.
Brothers and Sisters,
We would like to utilize a text message (SMS) alert tool in order to more effectively inform our ward family about general announcements and emergency alerts.
We encourage all members (age 13 and up) to opt-in to the service so you can receive text messages when we send out an announcement. To opt-in, please text "@wardalerts" to 81010.
The service is called Remind. Remind was created for school districts but is free and open for non-profit use. After you send your initial text to opt-in, it will ask for your name and whether you're a student, parent, or teacher. Please select student. It will suggest that you download the app but this is not necessary. We will continue to send announcements via email as well.
Please let us know if you have any questions or feedback.
Best,
