The Science of the STEM
Due 5/6
The hands-on part is always fun and our slideshows do the best to explain exactly what is needed but is there science we are missing? Is there overarching science that we haven’t yet talked about or should include more - ie. Do we talk enough about engineering or building techniques in general?
The more information we have – the more you can help engage students with fun information. How does this STEM apply to our life? (ie do any “dinosaurs” live today - birds?)
Create a “Did you know?” google slide with some of the science
Some ideas:
Compass - How does a compass work?
Coding - where does coding come from? How has coding evolved?
Habitats and animals - how do they coincide?
Robots - history of robots?
Engineering - things to know about building – what makes things stronger? Weaker?
Something else that interests you.
