For this project I had to research 2 different articles that have to do with CyberSecurity. With the articles I had to examine the risks that come with using technology.
In the lesson I learned a lot about CyberSecurity. i learned that with any email that has an attachment to it to look over it to make sure that it's safe to open the attachment. I also learned that when there is an update in software to update it immediately instead of waiting for a later time.
This article was about a man who had committed multiple counts of fraud and identity theft. Frank Torres is a 65 year old man who was allegedly involved in frauds in many different jurisdictions. Many different people were affected by this man comitting fraud and identity thefts. We can protect ourselves in the future by making sure all of our sensitive information isn't sent out as well as making sure to have 2-factor authentication to help prevent identity theft.

In the article it describes what the attack does in details to help the audience understand exactly how it works. It affected people who bought the certain crypto currencies. In the future we can prevent this by double checking what we install to our computers because a download link may not be what it seems.
