Final Thoughts

It was very difficult to pick one fact or topic from this website that I believed was the most interesting or important, because of how interesting and important all of these topics and facts are. I think they all play an equally as big role in maintain democracy in education and our society. If I had to choose, I would say that legal action against racist institutions. This stood out the most to me because of how critical I feel it is. Having racist institutions in the U.S is a huge problem and for the fact that it's a true statement in today's society upsets me. The actions and thought process behind what W.E.B Dubois did to fight against this was truly amazing and what he did to help the African American people who rallied behind him. But, to finish this off, I think the biggest takeaway from this idea W.E.B Dubois had was that it helps defend and dismantle systemic racism.
