For this project I was assigned to choose and research a new emerging technology and how it works. I chose to research self driving delivery robots because I personally think they are very interesting and can be very useful and a huge part about these robots is that there is room for improvement and with that being said they can always be popular with proper technological advancements as time goes by. When I was researching these robots I found a lot of new and enlightening information that I had never knew before but one thing that stuck with me because I did find it particularly interesting to learn  was that big name brand companies like uber eats and door dash have already started investing in  and actively using these self driving delivery robots in the line of duty in specific states and other areas. 

In completing this project I learned alot of new lessons about the material and also myself. Creating this project made me realize things about myself I did not yet learn in that I found myself feeling uncomfortable with presenting my work to the entire class face to face. I learned alot about my selected topic but also the wide variety of new emerging technologies that are currently changing the world as we know it when searching for what topic I should research.

For the other presentation project in unit 5 I was assigned to complete a global group project in which me and my partner both researched a country and then came together to create a powerpoint basically comparing and contrasting the two countries. I chose Venezuela as my country while my partner selected Dubai.  One interesting fact I learned about the two is that Dubai is famous for advanced technology while Venezuela Is known for having to use only smartphones and social media to stay connected every day.

In completing this project, I gained a lot of knowledge I did not possess before.  I mainly learned how to properly and effectively navigate the databases of the CCBC  online library in order to find a source for my project, But I also learned that solo work is easier for me than group work because it doesn't require having to socialize and keep in touch with someone about the assignment and I get to design things the way I would actually like them.
