the goal of the Mindmap was to choose four goals important to you and than elaborate on to how you are going to accomplish them. Doing this helped me learn that laying all your goals out in front of you can help you feel more motivated and connected towards sticking to those goals.
during unit 2 we spent a lot of time learning about all the different ways to utilize software's such as excel, word, and PowerPoint.
One of the biggest things I learned about Excel during this time is the importance of shortcuts. There are many different shortcuts to help you use excel how it should properly be used such as autofill which can help you make copies of the same word and drag them into different cells in order to save time.
With word although I use it the most often there are still things I am actively being taught about it.
tables/charts: I just learned about all the different ways you can easily edit a chart and also add one.
date/Time: I had no idea prior to CSIT class that you could add a date stamp to a documentÂ
Citations: this makes it way easier for you to site your sources instead of manually having to do it
PowerPoint I would say I understand the most about already but there are features that I could have been utilizing to make my presentations look cleaner
Animations: this is a very good feature for making every one of your slides unique with its own little animation from slide to slide which can add personality to your presentationsÂ
