Under this project, I applied the cross-correlation technique to measure time delays between the accretion disk’s continuum and emission and the C IV emission lines from the BLR using data from SDSS-RM and HST-FOS.I worked on estimating the broad-line region radius and black hole mass by correlating the measured time delays and studying the velocity dispersion of emission line
In this project I aims to identify AGN candidates in the Euclid Quick Data Release Deep Fields and conduct a detailed study of their host galaxies using high-quality imaging. By performing spectral analysis and refining the methods for estimating their physical properties, we also aim to obtain deeper insights into the role of AGNs across cosmic time.
During my summer internship at NISER Bhubaneswar, I used numerical integration in Python to model various types of universes and CMB. This modelling shows how each component influences the universe’s early conditions, expansion rate, and long-term evolution..
I have done a reading project where I read a couple of research papers on GRMHD Modellings on Accretion Disc. The primary goal of this project was to understand the effects of magnetic field on disk inclination and mass accretion rate into the central black hole
