FIRST, READ THIS: http://denversom.wikispaces.com/USMLE+Step+1
This wikispace is heavily based upon CUSOM's, specifically their Step 1 section, which helped me out a ton. Pay specific attention to the data at the bottom of the page and all advice. The following are additional readings of study methods and Step 1 post action reports.
UFAP= UWorld, First Aid, Pathoma
Zanki 2020 (AnKing Update) - Some 30,000 Anki cards combining several of the most popular Step resources (First Aid, Sketchy, Boards and Beyond, UWorld, etc.). Very helpful to do longitudinally during pre-clinical years to supplement classroom learning.
Groovernaculum's First Aid Rapid Review 2015- First Aid's rapid review chapter in anki format with EXCELLENT pictures. Perfect to do a couple of days before the test
Brosencephalon and Zanki Step 1 Deck- First Aid, Pathoma, and some Pharm in card format; could be useful to cram weak areas. See Anki Tips section for more information.
Yousmle- Deck with very large cards focused on integrating concepts instead of learning discrete facts.
Cramfighter- Used by some to create a study plan
Doctors in Training- All inclusive Step 1 study package used by some
NOTE: With the demise of CUSOM wikispace, I wanted to post their best piece of data that helped me the most when deciding on how to study for Step 1. The following table shows the Step 1 score vs self reported CBSE score (an in-house practice test), hours of studying, # test questions, and hours listened to Goljan. It is from this data that I decided to maximize the number of practice questions before and during dedicated.
