To apply to GTIS classes, which are modular accelerated learning courses, students may apply up to the first day of class. A $75.00 nonrefundable admission fee is required for matriculating students, and a $50 nonrefundable technology/facilities fee is required for credential/certification courses.
Financial Aid through the school is not available. The Stephen F. Northam Scholarship is offered to a first-time enrollee for one quarter term. Returning students who recruit a first-time enrollee may receive half off their tuition for the current term. Students who choose to use the GI Bill must receive prior approval from a Veterans Administration education counselor before assistance can be used. While the application fee is nonrefundable, all other fees may be refunded based on a prorated schedule.
GTIS uses a simple application process:
1. Students must complete the application located on the school website at www.gatewoodtis.com, or in-person at the registrar’s office located at 1803 Pecan Cove Dr., Copperas Cove, TX 76522. Students may also submit an intent to register via email to gtisregistrar@gmail.com for registration assistance. A non-refundable admission fee of $25.00 or $50.00 is due at the time of submitting an application. This fee ensures that a seat is available for a particular class.
2. When accepted, students will receive an acceptance letter via email from the registrar.
3. All students must speak with the Academic Dean or a Counselor prior to the first day of class to ensure proper program placement.
4. Students must appear on the first night of class for final processing.
