Life Learning Experience Credit

• Life Learning Experience (LLE) is credit hours awarded for learning experiences that have taken place in non-traditional settings.

• LLE Credit are considered as transfer credits.  It will not be awarded if the transfer credit maximum has already been accepted.

• A maximum of 12 hours in credit equivalency can be earned

• LLE credit is not awarded in the final 12 hours of a degree track.

• An application for credit must be completed for each degree track.

Procedure

1.      Fill out the application completely

2.      Pay a non-refundable fee of $40.00 for each application for each track.  Payment is required at the time of application. 

3.      With the application:

a.   Describe the experience for which you are seeking credit.  The experience must be equivalent to the coursework being offered. 

b.   Be specific.  Include names and addresses of persons or agencies involved.  Include dates and attach any relevant documentation, e.g. certificates, letters of recommendations, resumes, etc.

c.   Submit the application with your payment and a confirmation email to the office of the registrar at gtisregistrar@gmail.com.  An interview may be required.
