You are responsible for taking and collecting CE/CEU's during your 2 year certification cycle. You will not be reminded to do it by anyone usually, so you must keep track of doing this yourself.
You don't want to get caught the week or a few days before you're set to renew and then you can't because you don't have the 40 credits needed to renew! (Trust us, it happens and it's not a fun time)
If you have already taken CE/CEU's, then please follow the directions on this page on how to upload those into your NREMT profile.
While we do not specifically work for any of these companies, these are some ideas of places you could obtain the required classes.
You can access your classes anywhere, but this could give you a good start on places to look.
Unless the company you work for pays for these, be prepared to pay money to recertify for the following:
1) Your NREMT recertification application ($25 as of 10/16/24)
2) Your CE/CEU Classes if they are not advertised as free

The 2016 NCCP 20-hour EMT refresher course is built to cover all critical areas required for EMT recertification. The course follows the NCCP model, which divides the training into three components: National, Local, and Individual.
Key topics in the EMT refresher course include:
Airway Management: Learn the latest techniques for maintaining and securing airways, including advanced practices that align with current EMS protocols.
Cardiology and Trauma Care: The course provides in-depth reviews of cardiovascular emergencies, trauma response, and the management of critical injuries.
Medical Emergencies: This section covers a wide range of medical emergencies, ensuring EMTs are prepared for anything from respiratory issues to neurological incidents.
Each module is designed to be interactive and engaging, with recorded sessions led by EMS physicians and materials available for review. These sessions offer EMTs the chance to stay updated on the latest in emergency care while fulfilling the national component of the NREMT recertification process.
