Detecting CS2 Dark (Front Access Type: Reject box is opened.) | Health Check Req
Error caused by dust on optic / glass sensor. Find sensor at front top of dispensor by just opening reject box and seeing lever is actuated by reject door. When door is closed sensor is visable. Look close from top. I can usually touch the sensor to rub off dust with the little finger on my left hand. Good to wipe dust off those anyway. Error is also sometimes caused by torn piece of bill. Fixed.

The New Windows CE 7.0
The New Windows CE 7.0
A recent technical bulletin was launched to inform our customers about the new WinCE 7.0 mainboard for our Retail ATMs. The new mainboard does not have a separate I/O board like the WinCE 6.0 mainboard required. The WinCE 7.0 mainboard and I/O board are “combined” so it is only one part. The new WinCE 7.0 mainboard will be installed on new production retail ATMs in Q1 2022. Advantages to moving to this new mainboard are:
The updated hardware and WinCE7 have better performance than the previous generations
Updates from the cloud software repository take less than a minute in most cases
Previous generation mainboards are no longer available for purchase or warranty replacement.
For any new Retail ATMs manufactured after Q1 2022 there is no action that needs to be taken. For existing ATMs in production today the mainboards will need to be replaced.
The WinCE 7.0 mainboard does not use the same software as the WinCE 6.0 mainboard. The WinCE 7.0 Software (OS, BL, and AP) is available for download on our website, www.nhatm.com. The instructions to load the software via SD card and/or USB are very similar to that of the WinCE 6.0 mainboard. Also, the loading instructions are included in the software download from our website.
Minimum SW Required for the new WinCE 7.0 mainboard:
OS : V10.11.07 and up (note: WINCE60 version structure is V08.xx.xx)
BL : V10.02.07 and up
AP : V06.02.09 and up

Triton RL 3.2.3 full install to make DCC work just copy this one file to USB
You know its a BFC --> Cardtronics ATM if the terminal ID starts P314. Cardtronics USB updates. First use factory version sdram. Then Cardtronics USB updates to change Version V.xx to C.38. We only have about 0 Atms that are Cardtronics. Cardtronics ATMs are programmed standard 1. Enhanced Standard 1. All regular BFC/NCAL Atms were programmed standard 3. We have switched all Hyosung Atms to standard 1, enabling DCC and online Journal, enabling RMS. When calling in keys to Columbus Data say Enhanced Standard 1 if its Cardtronics or BFC/NCAL now.

SE Power the machine off, remove the SD Card, open the vault door (do not touch the vault door position
switch) and then power it back on.
23. Watch the screen for the Please Wait While Initializing Screen, NOT the Please wait while loading
screen.
24. When the Please Wait While Initializing Screen comes up you will have roughly 5 seconds to enter in:
SE *** Clear > Left Arrow > Right Arrow > Clear > Clear > Cancel***

Enable Health Check
Unnecessary Debit / Debit Mastercard screen on ATM during tranaction. To disable.
On a regular Hyosung ATM the setting is under Customer/Optional Function 2/EMV/Other Options/Use Common Aid/ Enable.
When I enable use common aid this screen does not show on our Hyosung ATMs.
Standard 1 programming notes for regular Hyosung BFC ATMs
5100T thru the wall ATM programming notes
5100 T boots shuts down windows and goes to blank screen. This was caused by backup batteries. Solution replace 4 backup batteries .
Problem 5100T goes to operator mode on reboot. 5100T reboots into operator mode.
Problem was back up batteries in bottom have gotten weak.
Fix There are four 12 volt batteries. If you buy replacements Batteries Plus carries them and called them "Twelve, eight, F." 12 8 F.
Fix 2 Cherry switch was broken in vault area. Their is a 4 wire 6 terminal cherry switch telling atm open closed status of vault door.
Cherry switch was physically broken.
Fix 3 we jumped the cherry wswitch. Connected 2 wires black and yellow on right. Also connected 2 wires black and yellow on left.
This error persisted for years until I changed the backup batteries again and noticed cherry switch broken.
Every Monday morning atm needed to be reset from operator mode to put it back in sercive by switching rocker switch on back panel.
When 5100T losses power if back up batteries are strong enough the PC performs a proper shutdown. Then on reboot the ATM comes back into service and works instead of coming into operator mode. When the batteries are weak PC shuts down immediately and reboots into operator mode until service person flips switch and puts ATM back into service.
Check wires are pushed onto battery terminals correctly.

5100T Windows boot manager screen
I called Hyosung tech support after first windows error. They said needs full software reload.
Tried reloading software unsuccessfully many times.
Windows error changed to device unacessable.
Finally checked backup batteries in bottom one was corroded leaking and reading zero volts.
Replaced backup batteries.
Found another working 5100T with same pc part number and same version bios.
Copied that drive to a ssd.
Brought ssd to out of order location.
It booted.
Just had to change name on receipt, serial number, and amount of bills. Also got the BC 400 error but after resetting dispenser atm was functioning.

Write serial number on back of lock with sharpie #2 to get serial number.
Shelved combo 50-25-50 or if it goes IPI need to call NCAL to get combo.
Get small box and plastic baggy for parts and screws.
Lock should be in unlocked state to remove it.
1) Remove 2 screws from back of lock.
Carefully remove back plate it has a wire that needs to be unplugged attached.
Hold knob on front while unscrewing screw in center of big gear in back.
Remove gear and knob put screw to hold them together.
Remove screws from front holding on dial pad.
Remove dialpad.
Carefully dislodge ribbon cable plastic tube and remove front plate.
Four screws hold back plate.
Remove back plate.
Do not touch or damage ribbon cable.
Reverse procedure for installation.

To open turn dial and wiggle dial till it blins charging lock. . Tab must be at 12 oclock. Enter combo. Turn to right to pull in bolt. Turn or pull handle to open. To lock close then turn dial.
Pictured below is a sidelock in locked position. Note 9v battery charging port on face of lock. If lock needs battery replaced, charge by holding 9v battery on port, then enter combo and turn lock to right to pull in bolt. Then turn handle to open. Battery located inside atm vault.

X1 and 8000 need old edit key passwords. And new change state passwords

X1 does not do reset with dipswitch. In menu choose epp reset or clear.
If Secure mode passwords are lost on X1 <-- send in for repair.
If change state passwords are lost try reset keypad in menu.
Clear EPP default change state passwords become 000000.

Change state on keypad from initialization state to installation state.
1) Installation State The Installation State is the default operational state for the EPP. This state is required for the EPP to accept a Master Key and for transactions to be processed. This state is the same as the default for the PCI 1.0 EPP.
4) Initialization State This is the default state of the EPP after performing a physical NVRAM clear on the EPP. All passwords and accounts are reset to default zeroes (000000) and must be reconfigured prior to key entry / normal ATM operations. You must change the EPP State accounts and passwords from default, and log in successfully to change from this state
Directions for setting 8000 and X1 keypads.
Host,Edit Key, set epp state. Enter id 1 and 2 default all zeros. Add Id make id 1 all 5,s and id 2 all 6's. Back out go into set epp state again with the new ids. Shows initialization state. Choose change state. Changes to installation state.
Back out to host. Back in edit key change initial passwords from all zeros to our usual edit key passwords.
Be sure mode is tdes 3. In edit key choose master key triple and enter des keys as usual.

If changing setting on Triton Columbus Data told me to set communications ID to CDSAA0 <--(WRONG).
We found that Triton communications ID has to be set ATMI00 (atm eye zero zero)
To enable Health check on Triton.
Press Blank key and numeral key 1 at same time to enter menu password screen.
Menu password is 00 then default six digit regular menu password.
Press 0 main menu.

EPROM ERROR RECOVERY After initial installation and software download, you “may” experience a “hard” 205 or 239 Error Code. You will have to reboot the terminal of which you will get this screen (below, left). CLEAR TAMPER -
This option is only displayed if the terminal has detected a tamper condition from the SPED device. CLEAR SERIAL TAMPER - This option is only displayed when the serial number of the SPED device does not match the SPED device serial number that the terminal has stored. This is not a SPED device tamper but an indication that the terminal may have been tampered with. When this error is cleared, the serial number of the connected SPED device is written to the terminal .
If this screen has either the SPED Tamper Error Code 205 or SPED Serial Number Error Code 239, the reset error button will not clear these 2 errors. To clear the errors, enter
MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONS > DIAGNOSTICS > MORE DIAGNOSTICS > MORE(MORE) DIAGNOSTICS > KEYPAD. Need to find keypad. Maybe under first diagnostics.
This menu option is dynamic. The clear error codes (Tamper or Serial) will only appear when either error is detected on the terminal.
