Former faculty member at New Visions Charter High School; established a music curriculum consisting of AP Music Theory, Music Technology, and Band.

Member of Teacher and Leader Effectiveness Team (2016-2017).

Member of network-wide Teacher Working Group, which resulted in the inclusion of arts writing assignments in writing assessment metrics (2016).

Through a competitive application process, I acquired musical instruments (flutes, clarinets, trumpets, and percussion instruments) in partnership with the WQXR Instrument Drive.

As part of the Lincoln Center Scholars Program, I was selected to give a speech to my Cohort on June 23, 2017. This reflection was then featured in essay form on the Lincoln Center Education website.
