B. E. in Material Science Shanghai Tech University 2021
I am Chengyu Zhu and a PhD student in Electrical Engineering. I got my Bachelor and Master degree in Material Science and Engineering from ShanghaiTech University and Columbia University, respectively. I used to do some research about the electrochromic material and device, gas sensor and optical gain of quantum dots. In my daily life, I am interested in Kendo, hiking and watching Formula one racing.
Junghyun Koo
B.Sc. in Physics, Kyung Hee University, 2025
My name is Junghyun Koo, and I am a Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Kyung Hee University in Seoul, South Korea. Previously, I focused on wide-bandgap semiconductor growth. My current research interests include the fabrication of wide-bandgap power electronics. Outside of research, I enjoy hiking, rock climbing, and cycling.
Joseph Seigler
Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, Expected 2028
My name is Joseph Seigler, I am an undergrad student in Electrical Engineering. I try to keep my mind and body sharp by eating right, lifting weights, and playing chess. After my Bachelor's, I plan to pursue a PhD.
Long Cheng
Bachelor of Physics and Mathematics, Expected 2028
I am Long Cheng. I am currently an undergraduate student at Carleton College. My work focuses on understanding electronic transport and related effects such as weak localization and weak anti-localization. I am also interested in how these effects can be related to future spintronic devices. In my daily life, I enjoy fishing and playing jazz music.
