Quantum Design DynaCool cryostat

Closed-loop cryostat with a temperature range from 1.7 K to 400 K, magnetic field of 9 T.

Two-axis rotator probe is available.

Dilution Refrigerator Insert

Base temperature of 45 mK. Compatible with the DynaCool cryostat. 

Measurement electronics 

Electronic racks for low-noise, high-precision magneto-transport measurements with versatile DC and AC setups. Electronics include:  

• Two SR860 Lock-in amplifier (up to 500kHz)

• Voltage source meter Keithley 2450;

• Current source meter Keithley 6221;

• Nanovoltmeter Keithley 2182A;

• Digital multimeter Keithley 6550;

• Current and voltage pre-amplifier SR560, SR5570.

Formfactor probe station

4 DC probes with chuck bias, SMUs available for semiconductor device characterizations. 

Material Growth Lab

Our material synthesis lab is set up for growing high-quality low-dimensional nanomaterials using the hydrothermal technique, including a convection oven, a fume food, autoclaves, a centrifuge, among others.
