This Privacy Policy explains how the developer of the Game Maps Reality IRL mobile application (“Game Maps Reality IRL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our iOS app and related services (the “Service”).
By downloading or using Game Maps Reality IRL, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. WHO WE ARE
Game Maps Reality IRL is a consumer navigation app that displays real-world maps with game-inspired visual themes, place search, and turn-by-turn directions.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect information in the following categories.
2.1 Information you provide
• Support emails and messages you send to appweather6@gmail.com
• Feedback or other content you voluntarily submit
2.2 Location information
With your permission, we access your device location to:
• Show your position on the map
• Calculate routes and provide navigation guidance
• Support place search and nearby results
You can enable or disable location access in iOS Settings. If you deny location permission, map positioning and navigation features may not work properly.
Background location may be used while navigation is active so guidance can continue when the app is in the background. Continued background GPS use can decrease battery life.
2.3 Device and usage information
We may collect:
• Device type, OS version, app version
• Approximate diagnostics and crash data
• Anonymous or aggregated usage events (for example, which screens are opened, subscription funnel events, feature taps)
We use analytics and crash reporting tools (including Firebase services) to understand stability and product usage.
2.4 Purchases and subscriptions
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to help manage entitlements (for example, whether Game Maps Pro is active). We do not receive your full payment card details. Apple may provide us with purchase tokens, product identifiers, and entitlement status needed to unlock premium features.
2.5 Map and search data
Map rendering, geocoding, routing, and place search may be processed through map service providers (including Mapbox). Queries and location signals necessary to provide those features may be transmitted to those providers under their own terms and privacy policies.
3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use information to:
• Provide, operate, and improve the Service
• Show maps, themes, routes, and place results
• Process and restore purchases / subscriptions
• Measure performance, fix bugs, and understand feature usage
• Respond to support requests
• Comply with law and protect against abuse or fraud
• Communicate important service-related notices when needed
4. LEGAL BASES (WHERE APPLICABLE)
Depending on your region, we process personal data based on:
• Performance of a contract (providing the app features you request)
• Legitimate interests (security, analytics, product improvement)
• Consent (for example, location permission and certain analytics/marketing where required)
• Legal obligations
5. SHARING OF INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information with:
• Service providers that help us operate the app (for example, Apple, RevenueCat, Mapbox, Firebase/Google), only as needed to provide their services
• Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security
• A successor entity if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (with notice where required)
These providers process data under their own privacy policies when they act as independent controllers, or under our instructions when they act as processors.
6. DATA RETENTION
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, including legal, accounting, or security requirements. Support emails are kept as needed to resolve your request. Analytics and diagnostics may be retained in aggregated or de-identified form. You can clear certain on-device data (such as saved places and recent searches) using in-app settings where available.
7. YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS
Depending on your location (including the EEA, UK, Türkiye, and certain U.S. states), you may have rights to:
• Access, correct, or delete personal data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based
• Data portability
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

• Tracking / analytics-related OS settings as available on your device

8. CHILDREN
Game Maps Reality IRL is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact appweather6@gmail.com and we will take appropriate steps.
9. SECURITY
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please use strong device passcodes and keep iOS updated.
10. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
11. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
The Service relies on third-party platforms (Apple App Store, map providers, analytics, purchase management). Their practices are governed by their own policies. Game map themes are visual styles inspired by gaming aesthetics and do not imply affiliation with third-party game publishers.
12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Policy, except where additional consent is required by law.
