Rising costs of tournament fees, equipment, etc. will require the team to do fundraising over the season to cover the difference between dues and the cost associated to high level tournaments. The information below provides an overview of the Fundraisers the team has or will be offering.
It costs around $35,000 - $45,000 to manage an 'A' Schedule team. Two major costs that we have not incurred in the past is 1) Team Gate Fees (add an additional $200 - $300 PER TOURNAMENT!) and Field rental for practice ($60 - $300 PER PRACTICE).

What are we doing? We will be hosting a raffle fundraiser for our EOY trips to CO and Cali.
What is included in the raffle? The Wolfenbargers arranged a donation from Char Broil of a brand new Joe Smoker (retail $399.99). The Coopers have donated a Roadie Yeti cooler and 2 Yeti cups.
How can you help? We need additional "summer themed" items to include in the raffle. All donations from merchants, corporations are tax deductible through our certified 501c. A letter with MIYS official logo and 501(c)(3) status can be provided for tax purposes.
Why are we doing this? To cover some of the expenses for CA & CO - facilities space, travel fees, gate fees, recognition for our athletes. We know playing softball at this level is expensive and we hope to offset some of the extra costs
The following is a DRAFT of how we will organize the raffle.
This is an ongoing 'passive' way to fundraise and will continue throughout the season(s) - everyone shops, might as well get a little bit of it back to support the team.
