This team of dedicated and hard working students and staff help keep us safe during drop off and dismissal.

A great way for students to start their day! Gates open at 7:25. Students have opportunity to earn recognition and trinkets for participating, as well as a fieldtrip for running predetermined number of miles during the school year.

The Sage Garden and Cooking classes have enabled us to develop a more robust engagement of students and teachers in garden, nutrition, and culinary education, build important connections to healthy food, conduct STEM learning in a living lab, and enhance school wide teamwork and cooperation skills. The students love it and look forward to their garden and culinary lessons!

Parent only event! This is a time to meet your teachers and find out about your student's class and what they will be learning this school year.

Opportunity for grandparents and grandparent-like adults to come spend some time with students after school for some fun activities and snacks.

Fun family night on the multi-use field and blacktop area - enjoy food trucks, local vendors, bike tracks, music, outdoor play, and more!

Our first big fundraiser that goes to support our students and school in so many ways! 

A great way for families to donate gently used costumes and pick out something new-to-you for the Halloween season.

Enjoy games, food, music, and festive activities for all ages. From the Haunted House to concessions, Boo Grams, and more, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. There will be carnival games, prizes, musical cake raffle, face painting and temporary tattoos, food for purchase to support 5th grade committee, music, and lots of festive fun!

A meaningful way for our school community to honor loved ones, share traditions, and learn about the beauty of this cultural celebration. Through art, food, remembrance, and community participation, students and families come together to celebrate memories, connection, and the stories that keep our loved ones close

Special day for STEM students that includes various STEM stations and challenges for each grade, such as designing and building bridges, egg drops, and much more.

A special day to recognize and honor family members who have served in the armed forces.

Gage Elementary and Pershing Middle School team up together as a community to celebrate strength, unity, and perseverance. Students and families walk to school together in honor of courage, equality, and the spirit of Ruby Bridges.

Minimum days all week. Parents and teachers meet to discuss student's current successes and areas of need.

Help San Diegans in need during the holiday season by donating food to the annual Gage Food Drive through the San Diego Food Bank.

This annual tradition provides an opportunity for our community to support Gage students and families during the holiday season.

A fun filled evening for students and families to dance and enjoy actvities together!

A great opportunity for our students to show case their talents - singing, dancing, art, playing an instrument, comedy, production crew and much more!

This festival celebrates the many cultures, traditions, identities, and lived experiences that make up our school community. Through family-hosted booths, performances, food, and interactive activities, students and families come together to share, learn, and build connection in a joyful setting.

Our big Spring fundraiser for parents and staff! Enjoy a night out with dinner, dancing, and auction. Or enjoy the auction from the comfort of your couch!

Families are invited into the classrooms to see all the hard work students have done and bring home materials.

Fifth Graders take a visit to Junior Achievement's BizTown, a hands-on learning experience where students get to run real businesses, manage their own bank accounts, and see firsthand how a community economy works.

Time to celebrate our 5th graders and send them off on their next adventure to middle school.
