About me

My name is Gabriela Alvarez, and I'm an English>Spanish Certified Translator.

I've always been passionate about languages and cultures, that's why I chose this wonderful profession that allows me to work anywhere.

I discovered subtitling when I was a university student. I participated in a project on SDH for several years. It was a great opportunity to me because not only I learnt all the basics about the theory and practice of subtitling, but also I met people with real needs. After that, I continued to take courses on conventional subtitling to sharpen my skills.
