After the success of the first three editions of the Italian Meeting on G-quadruplexes (G4) and other non-canonical nucleic acid structures, we are pleased to host the fourth edition in Ancona.
G4ME Ancona 2026 will take place from July 2 to 4, 2026, at the Polytechnic University of Marche. The meeting will provide an opportunity to share, in an informal environment, the latest developments and future perspectives in research on G4 and other non-canonical nucleic acid structures. Topics will mainly cover biology, biotechnology, medicine, pharmaceuticals, biophysics, and nanotechnology.
The event will begin on Thursday, July 2. Registration will be open from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by the official inauguration of the meeting at 3:00 PM. The meeting will conclude on Saturday, July 4, at 1:00 PM. The program will include six oral presentation sessions, encouraging exchange among researchers from different disciplinary areas.
We have kept costs low to encourage broad and inclusive participation. The registration fee of € 130.00 is divided into SISN membership* (€ 30 for senior members / € 15 for junior members) and conference registration, and includes participation in the meeting, coffee breaks, Thursday dinner, Friday light lunch, and the social dinner on Friday, July 3. The social dinner will take place in Pierosara, in the beautiful Marche hills, and will be preceded by a guided tour of the stunning Frasassi Caves (Genga, AN), also included in the registration fee.
*membership in SISN is required for organizational purposes.
