convert the divide sign to multiplication sign.
take the reciprocal of the fraction after the divide sign.
Success Criteria:
I am able to
connect division of algebraic fraction to changing the sign to multiplication, taking the reciprocal of the fraction after the divide sign and using the cancelling of common factors to simplify the algebraic fraction.
Pre-Requisite:
simplifying multiplication of algrbraic fraction
Always look through all examples in textbook before lesson.
Steps:
1) KCF - Keep, Change and Flip. The divide sign will change to multiplication sign.
2) (Numerator x Numerator) / (Denominator x Denominator)
3) Simplify by cancelling common factors.
