Institute Innovation Council (IIC)

The Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) is a nationwide initiative by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, under the Innovation Cell (MIC). Launched in 2018, its goal is to systematically foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in higher educational institutions, including diploma colleges, polytechnics, engineering colleges, and universities. 

Core Objectives of IIC

• Promote innovation and start-up culture within the campus

• Encourage interdisciplinary project development

• Create an ecosystem for idea generation, problem-solving, and entrepreneurship

• Engage students in national-level innovation initiatives

• Facilitate collaboration with industry and incubators
