I love to be in the world! 

Fishing continues to teach me about the endless natural wonders that our world offers. My grandpa has taken me deep-sea fishing since I was six. To his chagrin, I have recently taken on fly fishing. I've been properly hooked ever since catching my first Arctic Grayling at the Toolik Field Station in Alaska! At home in California, I am an assistant coach for the California Women’s Wrestling National Team, and am always ready to roll on the mat. I am constantly inspired by the work of Octavia Butler and take after her critically hopeful lens of humanity, our relations to each other, and the world we depend on.
