Hello! I am a recent graduate of Macalester College in St. Paul, MN, where I majored in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Community and Global Health and minors in Chemistry and Biology. I am passionate about the complexities of Indigenous organizing in resistance to extractive industries, and more generally, the climate crisis.
I aim to use my background in ecology and chemistry to gain a deeper understanding of mechanisms of toxicity on environmental and human health.
There is a deep sense of environmental responsibility within me, rooted in my joy while in natural spaces. I have dedicated my young career to defending the environment, and I have learned that we cannot progress towards environmental justice without centering the voices impacted by systems perpetuating the climate crisis. Specifically, I center the advocacy and science from Indigenous communities in extractive zones in my past and future work.
