Science Illustration!
As part of my year with the ACES fellowship, I illustrated a guide to plant taxonomic identification on the Coonamessett River (featured here!)—a former cranberry bog turned beloved wetland—to guide local middle and high school field trips. I also developed a worksheet for elementary school students to use for aquatic macroinvertebrate identification as an indicator of river health. Both of these were developed for the Falmouth Public School District in Massachusetts.
Podcasting!
In the summer of 2026, based off of discussions we had while galavanting through the Arctic tundra together, I was invited on to Heather Goldstone's "Not a Climate Scientist" podcast for a discussion about the intersection of environmental and (human) community work, framed in the context of a OneHealth approach.
