This year we'll have two Whatsapp groups for communication.

One for communicating the important information. Please make sure you're in it. Only admins have publishing rights. If you have questions related the trip, please contact your Network Leader.

The FYP cabin and activities -map can be found from the official INFO WhatsApp group.

Rent advance: We highly recommend that all participants pre-book rental gear using this link. (Link will be closed on March 1st at 5.00pm.)

By doing so, Himos can efficiently organize staffing and expedite the rental process, resulting in both time and cost savings. Say goodbye to lengthy two-hour queues in the morning! Choose the time for pick up that suits to you best. Payments will be processed through the provided link. 

Discount is available only via the link: One day rent: 31€ (norm. 40€) , Two day rent: 56€ (norm. 71 €). (If you handle the renting on the spot at Himos, the discount is not available for you.)

Set: slalom, telemark, snowboard or cross-country skis. Set includes boots, skis/board and poles. Helmet at extra cost (+5€/set).  Only helmet: 10€/helmet. Read more about the ski rental via the renting link.  (The set price is the same even if you have your own boots.)

Ski rental pick up: On Thursday evening, pick up from 19-20.30. On Friday morning the rental shop opens at 8.30 (slopes open at 10.00). Address: Länsikeskuksentie 9.  You will decide the pick up time when renting via link.

Rental booked but you can't make it to Himos? Please inform Himos asap: +358 20 711 9115 or vuokraamo@himos.fi. While they will issue a refund, a 10€ processing fee will be applied.

Please ensure that you use the FYP Himos 2024 Scarf and keep it with you at all times so that the organizers can identify you. There will be another group of 500 people who are not part of the FYP community, and we will not serve hot (minttu) chocolate or open the sauna for those who do not have the scarf.

Network leaders/SPOC (one person from your cabin) will distribute the scarves from Villa Himos during Thursday evening 7pm-9pm.

If you're willing to go to the Himos Areena on Friday/Saturday, we recommend buying the Himos Areena tickets in advance.
