The main idea is to spend some quality time with people from different companies on Friday and Saturday evenings. The FYP Himos organizing team has paired up the host & guest networks, taking into account their location and amount of people. Each network is a guest one night and a host at another. Network will agree the exact starting time with the guests. However, please do not change the host or guest networks that have been paired up as this would likely need re-arranging also for other network pairs. Some companies have several cabins, so just check out the party cabin from the table, and feel free to confirm with your host.

Cabin hopping list will be added to the Whatsapp INFO group closer the event.

What does it mean to be a host? 

You can choose to offer your guests some drinks or snacks if you want to, but it’s not mandatory. You can simply just ask your guests to bring their own drinks and snacks and have a chilled hang out time together! Networking is the main point!

• Each host is free to set their own house rules (e.g. which rooms are in use or out of bounds / you’re only allowed to drink with your left hand)

• If you are offering drinks, remember to take into account the non-alcoholic attendees

What does it mean to be a guest? 

As a quest, it is polite to:

• Inform the host, how many guests will be joining from your side

• Be on time

• Behave like a guest – respect your hosts and don’t trash your hosts cabin

SPOC aka Single Person Of Contact for each cabin is sent via email closer to the event. SPOCs can agree specific times for cabin hopping with each other, but the official starting time is 18.00 / 6pm.
