Considerations for Choosing a Band Instrument

Students are going to be more willing to practice, and therefore, be more successful when playing an instrument of their choosing.  Students are happiest when they love the sound of the instrument and are intrigued by how its played. 

Here are a some additional key points:

♫  All instruments have their unique challenges, but require similar skills. There is no such thing as an "easy" or "hard" instrument. 

♫  Any song can be played on any instrument! It's up to your personal preference whether you like high or low pitched instruments.

♫ Each instrument is a standard size. There's no need to be measured for fit. 

♫  You can play any instrument if you are eager, vow to work hard, and maintain a positive attitude! I am here to help you and will always cheer you on!
