- Never let the dead box you in — keep strafing in wide circles so the swarm bunches up behind you, then sweep them with a single shotgun spread.
- Save your grenades for the armored brutes; one well-placed throw at their feet staggers them and shreds the runners packed around them.
- Reload the instant a wave clears, not mid-fight — getting caught with an empty clip during a rush is what ends most runs.
- Pour your early upgrades into reload speed and movement before raw damage, since staying mobile keeps you alive far longer than hitting harder.
