Catch The Bear Unblocked is a fast little reaction game where one slippery bear bounces around the screen and your job is to corner him. You drop blocks to block his path, one tap at a time, sealing off escape routes until he's got nowhere left to run. Sounds easy. It isn't. Every move you make, the bear darts the other way, hunting for the smallest gap to slip through, so you have to think two steps ahead and trap him with as few moves as possible. The grid gets trickier the deeper you go, and a sloppy tap hands him a free exit. Can you box him in before he escapes?
How to Play & Controls
- Left Click / Tap: Drop a block to seal off a tile and shrink the bear's space
- Up Arrow / W: Nudge your cursor up across the grid
- Down Arrow / S: Move your cursor down to the next row
- Left Arrow / A: Slide your selection one tile to the left
- Right Arrow / D: Shift your selection one tile to the right
- Spacebar: Confirm your placement with a clean snap
- R: Reset the board for a fresh trap attempt
Tips & Tricks
- Don't block right next to the bear first. Build a loose ring two tiles out, then tighten it so he can't dance around your gaps.
- Watch the edges. Pushing the bear toward a corner cuts his escape angles in half and lets you finish in fewer moves.
- Leave one obvious "open" lane as bait, then slam it shut on his next step once he commits to it.
- Count your blocks per round. Fewer placements means a higher score, so trap smart instead of spamming tiles everywhere.
