Please note that CLOSED-TOED SHOES are REQUIRED FOR ALL REHEARSALS. (smaller sneakers, ballet flats, dance shoes, etc.)
Sandals, flip-flops, or any open toed shoes are not safe to wear in the performance space and are strictly forbidden for rehearsals.
Feel free to leave rehearsal shoes at the theater to change into once you arrive.
We will be working on costuming from the start of our rehearsal schedule but beginning Week 2 (so starting June 30 - or earlier if directed by Musical Staff) we ask that all cast come to rehearsal wearing "modesty clothing" to allow the costuming crew to easily work on costuming and modifications.
MODESTY CLOTHING (tight, stretchy clothing to be worn at all times, and under your costume during performance): bike shorts (or dance pants) and tank tops (or camisole (cami) tees)
Please note that modesty clothing will be worn for all rehearsals and performances and is to be provided by each cast member. Come to rehearsal and performance dressed in your modesty clothing. For performance, generally black or white colors are appropriate, but please check with costuming staff before purchasing any items.
ALL CAST MEMBERS MUST PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COSTUME ELEMENTS:
- Modesty Clothing (see above, color is important once we get to show week)
- Shoes for Performance (please confirm type/color with Musical Staff before purchasing)
- Female performers must supply their own hose (please confirm color before purchasing)
- Socks (unless otherwise specified by Costuming Staff)
- Costume staff may ask if you to have long black slacks/pants or button down white dress shirts, but do not purchase these items before discussing with costume staff.
If you need assistance supplying or purchasing any of the above please contact Musical Staff - we may be able to help!
We have a significant costume closet and costumes will be provided. Unless you are specifically asked about a costuming item, do not make any costume purchases.
