Sign up to help install/construct our donated GRAND STANDS at 8am on SATURDAY MORNING, JULY 12th at 8am (bigger, stronger friends/family and work gloves encouraged for this task!)
Volunteer to run/manage/support our BAKE SALE FUNDRAISER on Sunday, July 13th and/or bring items to sell (neatly packaged to be sold) to rehearsal on Friday, July 11th or Saturday, July 12th.
Get creative by volunteering to DESIGN AND DECORATE THE CLOISTER and provide centerpieces for dining tables for “DINNER IN THE CLOISTER”.

If you love to sew, iron, or to get creative with clothes, VOLUNTEER IN OUR COSTUME ROOM to help with hemming, ironing, or the creation of certain costume items or hats.

Volunteer to COOK AND PREPARE ‘DINNER IN THE CLOISTER’ for this important fundraising element which is critical to the success of our summer.
Volunteer to PROVIDE REHEARSAL DINNER for the cast and crew during Tech Rehearsal on SUNDAY, July 20th around 4pm (the big Sunday rehearsal leading into performance week).
Stretch your creative muscle by signing up to create our CAST BOARD for display during show week featuring, a poster sized decorative display board of pictures and short bios of our cast and crew.
Volunteer to run the CLOSING NIGHT PARTY on site after the show ends on closing night.
Each summer, the cast of the FUMC summer musical runs some community service projects to help our larger community.

Part 1
Cast members donate school supplies to give to children who need them. There will be a big red barrel in Great Hall into which supplies can be dropped at any rehearsal for the first three weeks. Please consider donating any of the below items:
sturdy backpacks (please, no red- or blue-colored backpacks) suitable for grades 7-12.
plastic three ring notebooks, pocket folders for holding pencils and supplies, and/or tabbed dividers for notebooks
pocket sized dictionaries, thesaurus books, or calculators (check $.99 stores!)
glue sticks, small bottles of white glue, blunt scissors, plastic 12 inch rulers
single subject spiral college-rule notebooks, college ruled filler paper
black, red, blue ballpoint pens, #2 pencils, 23/box crayons, yellow highlighters
Part 2
Cast members provide baked goods (purchased or homemade) to sell at a bake sale in Coffee Hour after worship on Sunday, July 13th to raise money to further supplement our school supply donation. Ways to support the bake sale include:
-Bring homemade or purchased baked goods to rehearsal on Friday, July 11th or Saturday, July 12th to sell. Please package in bags sized to sell for $1, $2, or $5
- Meet at the church on Sunday morning, July 13th to set up the bake sale and to staff/run the sales table during Coffee Hour after Worship.
(We will also sell "Dinner in the Cloister" tickets during the sale!)
Part 3
During performance week we will solicit food donations from our audience members to support the F.U.M.C Social Services pantry and office. Please ask those that come to watch our amazing show to bring canned meat (such as tuna) and/or peanut butter to donate to the Friends In Deed food pantry. We also welcome cast donations!
