Orchestra Audition

2024-2025 Orchestra Audition Information

Orchestra auditions will be on first-come, first-served basis. However, the students must be pre-registered at their local schools to audition. Students are encouraged to carefully observe the “audition sheet” so that they understand how their performances are assessed. All seating is final.

 AUDITION:
  Date: Wednesday, November 6, 2024
  Time: 4:30pm - 7:00pm
  Site: Centennial High School
  Fee: $25

INFORMATION:
The auditions will be on first-come, first-served basis. However, the students must be pre-registered at their local schools to audition. Any student arriving after 6:50pm may not be allowed to audition.

Students are encouraged to carefully observe the “Judge's Sheet” so that they understand how their performances are assessed. All seating is final.

• STRING auditions will consist of three parts:
    1) Scales and Arpeggios

• • • Violins: G Major and A Melodic Minor, three (3) octaves

    • Violas: C Major and D Melodic Minor, three (3) octaves

    • Cellos: C Major and D Melodic Minor, three (3) octaves

    • Bass: F Major and G Melodic Minor, two (2) octaves
