Welcome to the Fulbright English Teaching Flagship website. We are a team of two English teaching professionals (in a broader group of 6 team members) who are embedded at the National Central University in Taoyuan. We are here to assist the university in English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI).

Hello! My name is Mike Wong. But, you can call me Mike.
I am an English Teaching Fellow at National Central University.
My pronouns are he/him/his.
Highest Education: Masters in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MA TESOL) from San Jose State University in California.
Goals: Convince people they can be good learners, meet a world leader, complete a triathlon when 100 years old, fly a plane, become a university English instructor, and open a writing center.
Special Interests: Hiking, doing cardio, playing video games, taking selfies, studying existentialism, and watching indie films and stand-up comedy
