Welcome to the Ft. Eustis Hash House Harriers; a drinking club with a running problem! We are the oldest, continuously running hash in the United States, dating back to November 7, 1971. We run between the areas of Williamsburg, Yorktown/York County, Poquoson, Newport News, and Hampton. Meeting every other Saturday at 3:00 pm, you will find a group of people that socialize, and then go running/walking along a trail set by a designated member (the hare). Our trails involve at least 1 beer check (for those 21 and older), and end with a festive, comedic, and welcoming gathering (the circle). It's a fun way to get in a bit of exercise with your socializing. We welcome runners and walkers of all abilities. Many of our trails are easily run/walkable with a dog or stroller. Children under the age of 18 are not recommended, as we have special family specific events and hashes that children are able to attend.
Come, join us for laid-back fun as we wander around the wilds of Hampton Roads Peninsula, either running or with a beer in hand.
