JOURNAL

This day is our first meeting with our Resource Teacher, Mrs. Lovely Garcia Simon. Before starting, she introduced herself first and after that, she presented the calendar of activities for the 2^nd quarter and her synchronous class schedule with the elementary learners in Laboratory Elementary School. On this day, she also allowed us to choose what lessons we want to make lesson plans and modules. Moreover, she gave us words of encouragement in the end.

On this day, our Resource Teacher gave feedback on the modules and lesson plans that we have created. She praised us for doing a great job in making the said outputs. Furthermore, she asked all of us what our experiences are in doing the modules and lesson plans. She also asked some of our queries which she willingly answered. Overall, this is a productive day because we received positive feedback from our Resource Teacher.

On this day, our Resource Teacher told the assigned FS Students who will be having their demonstration teaching next week to prepare, practice, and be ready.

On this day, we observed two of our fellow FS students who taught MAPEH 6 with the topic “Invasion Games’. I’ve gained a lot of learnings which I applied in my demonstration teaching. Some of these are being prepared for the presentation, having mastery of the topic, and having a voice that ignites the interest of the learners.

On this day, we observed two of our fellow FS students who taught Filipino 4 with the topic “Pandiwa at Aspekto ng Pandiwa”. I’ve learned that the discussion part should be concise yet complete.

On this day, we observed one of our fellow FS students who taught MAPEH 3 with the topic “Location, Space, Direction, Place, and Level”. I’ve learned that as teachers, we need to talk to the learners and remind them of the classroom rules whenever they misbehave during classes.

On this day, we observed two of our fellow FS students who taught MAPEH 6 with the topic “Healthy School and Community Environments”. I’ve learned that as teachers, we need to further explain the concepts so that learners will grasp the lesson being discussed.

On this day, I had my demonstration teaching with the topic “Panagano ng Pandiwa”. I really enjoyed teaching and learning as well. Also, one of our fellow FS students taught MAPEH 3 with the topic “Common Health Diseases”.

On this day, we administered a summative assessment to the Grade 6 learners in the MAPEH subject.

We administered a summative assessment to Grade 4 learners in the Filipino subject.

For our last meeting, we administered a summative assessment to the Grade 3 learners in the MAPEH subject. After that, we shared our learnings and realizations with all our experiences in the Laboratory Elementary School.
