COMMON QUESTIONS
How do I start and log a session?
Tap the + button on the Home screen to start a guided timer with breath pacing, or choose "Log a past session" to add one you already did. After a session you can confirm the duration and add water temperature, mood, and a note.
The AI Coach isn't responding. What can I do?
Make sure you have an internet connection, then try again. The coach needs a connection because it sends your request to the AI provider to generate a reply. If you added your own API key in Settings, confirm it is entered correctly.
How do I manage or cancel my FROST Pro subscription?
Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple. On your device, open the Settings app, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions to view, change, or cancel. You can cancel anytime; cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
I already paid. How do I restore my purchase?
Open FROST, go to the paywall or Settings, and tap Restore. This restores your FROST Pro access on any device signed in to the same Apple ID. One FROST Pro unlock covers both iPhone and iPad.
Where is my data stored? Can I back it up?
All your data is stored privately on your device. FROST does not use a cloud account. With FROST Pro you can export a backup file and import it later from within the app.
How do I delete my data?
You can delete individual sessions in the app, use the reset option in Settings, or delete the app to remove all FROST data from your device.
Is FROST medical advice?
No. FROST is a wellness and habit-tracking tool, not a medical device, and the AI Coach provides general information, not medical advice. Cold exposure carries real risks — ease in, never plunge alone, and consult a doctor about your risk factors.
