I've grown up in a family of five. No, you aren't seeing double, my sisters are identical twins. Although, I tower over them, they are seven years older than I and act as my second and third mother. Growing up I've always lived in the same house and frankly life's been good. There's been no major illnesses in my direct family and we all get along very well outside of the occasional fight over who's the favorite child.
During the school year I work at American Eagle, where I have earned employee of the month on three seperate occasions. My summer job on the other hand, I have plenty of stories that are always worth a great laugh with my friends. I work as a camp counselor at Camp Talooli. Spending a large majority of my time in and around a remote, bare bones cabin can be quite exhausting, but is a nice break from our regularly technology filled lives.
To say I love traveling would be an understatement. Due to myself playing soccer at a very high level I have been lucky enough to travel to the many beautiful destinations shown above. The only downside to my love of travel, is the chronic fear (that usually becomes reality) of children screaming and crying in airports. Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoy adventuring and spending time seeing all different aspects of the world we live in.
To say I love the most beautiful game, soccer would be a massive understatement. I have played since the age of 4 and I can thank this game for so many things such as the friends I've made and the places I've been able to go. Surprisingly, soccer has enabled me to really grow my knowledge of technology. Through the use of studying film, I have learned not only how to edit but also how to navigate large pieces of film efficiently. That is not all though, I have also learned how to use things such as camera equipment to film games, Trackers in the form of calf straps which track your game statistics and also trackers in the form of sports bras which analyze and breakdown what your body is doing during the game. I can't only thank the game of Soccer for this though, I never would have learned how to use any of this equipment if it wasn't for my coaches and my teammates. You're probably wondering what all this work has resulted in, and I an proudly say I am a 2021 NY state champion player and I also have played against some of the best teams in not only America, but also Canada and Germany.
I definitely do not lack for hobbies. I constantly feel the need to be doing something and because of this I have learned many skills such as cooking, playing guitar and ukulele, and also I recently have started to learn how to make cocktails so that I can bartend in college to make some extra money. Technology plays a very big role in teaching me these skills because I usually will either read articles/recipes online or watch tutorials on YouTube.
My hobbies are not just limited to inside activities, My friends and I are all sports fanatics and this leads us to play almost any sport you can think of when we are together. Our go-to's tend to be basketball, snowboarding/skiing, soccer, volleyball, and our personal favorite Spikeball. All of these high action sports can be draining so we often enjoy boating, fishing, and going on hikes so we can cool down from the high intensity games we typically play.
It was me and two close friends of mine Giovanni Heater and Kyle Marchak who one day had the idea to utilize our love and knowledge of sports and share it with our school and community thru YouTube via The NorthStar Network .
