Sign Language Bakery Workshop
手語烘焙工作坊
Have you experienced baking cake with sign language? In the workshop, participants will have a chance to connect with a group of young instructors from Lutheran School for the Deaf who will teach participants to make some delicious cookies and sign language. In addition, their instructors will become tour guides to assist in leading participants to have a site visit of the school which consists of different accessible facilities and equipment/ assistive technology to facilitate and develop deaf students’ whole person development and ability of connecting with society to promote inclusion.

Time: 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm (Gather at 1:05pm outside HKUST Starbucks for coach pick-up)
Venue: G/F, Big Hall, Lutheran School for the Deaf (89 Hing Shing Road, Kwai Chung, New Territories)

Student and staff registrations are warmly welcome.
Round-trip transportation will be provided.
This event is eligible for the Special Leave introduced by the University (subject to the approval of corresponding supervisors).

This allows us to offer your spot to individuals on the waitlist who are eager to participate. If you are absent without a valid reason and do not notify us by 15 Oct, you may be deprioritized for future events.
