The Fishing pond is controlled by Grantham Angling Association and is fishable by qualifying members only, senior citizens, physically disabled members and junior anglers under instruction.
There are 12 fishing platforms around the pond. there is a nearby bench and a picnic table.
Access can be arranged for the disabled by contacting the GAA - but it is MEMBERS ONLY

The Grantham Angling Association was established in 1874 by 12 like-minded men. The Grantham Journal of Saturday 29th August 1874 printed a short piece describing the first meeting
On Wednesday evening last, a number of anglers met at the Spread Eagle Inn to make arrangements for a match. ……the competition to be open to anyone residing in Grantham and the immediate neighbourhood, on payment of an entrance fee…….It is intended , after the match , to take steps for the formation of an angling association.
