The Friends of Mendon Elders are pleased to announce our 2026 Scholarship Program.  The program is open to students who are enrolling in part-time or full-time post-secondary studies at an accredited two-or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year (2026-2027).

Get ready to light the candles and raise your glasses—because we’re throwing a birthday bash that promises fun, laughter, and unforgettable memories! Everyone is welcome whether it is their Birthday month or are just in the mood to celebrate someone who does.

Our resident Chefs are full of ideas for healthy, time saving menus. The event will take place quarterly and feature seasonal favorites.  Watch how the food is prepared, taste the scrumptious creations and take home the recipe. 

Guest cooks will join them throughout the series to demonstrate additional cooking and baking ideas.  Join us, share cooking secrets and perhaps be spurred on to try something new.  See our events page for specific information.

History Presentation Series

In honor of the 250th Birthday of the United States The Friends are pleased to present an interesting and informative series of talks detailing the evolution of the Blackstone Valley and the Town of Mendon’s role in the birth of our nation.    This series will be held on the last Tuesday of the month beginning in March
