Thank You for Making the 2025 Mendon Progressive Yard Sale a Huge Success!

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers, sponsors, and participants who helped make this year’s Mendon Progressive Yard Sale such a memorable and successful event!

From the early morning setup crews to the homeowners who welcomed visitors with smiles, every yard, table, and community member played a part in creating a fun, well-organized, and welcoming experience. Your time, energy, and enthusiasm truly brought Mendon together in the best way.

A special shout-out to our generous sponsors whose support made it possible to promote and organize the event — we couldn’t have done it without you.

And of course, thank you to everyone who came out to shop, stroll, and enjoy the day! Your participation supports our local community spirit and helps keep Mendon a vibrant and connected town.

YARD SALE UPDATE

As our thoughts turn to spring and the promise of warmer weather the Friends of the Mendon Elders are gearing up for our Progressive Yard Sale on June 7th. To register to participate an application must be completed and returned to the Mendon Senior Center Saturday, May 3rd,10th, 17th and 24th between 9:00AM to 12:00 Noon. Applications are available at our Website or can be picked up at the Senior Center, Town Hall, Post Office or Library. There is a $25.00 registration fee which covers paid advertising, a yard sign, and listing in the booklet. To motivate buyers to visit all the participant locations, all buyers will be provided with a “Yard Sale Bingo” form when they come to pick up their booklets and map indicating yard sale locations. Every yard sale participant will have a unique stamp and when a buyer visits their location they will stamp the buyers form. The buyer with the most stamps will win a special prize.

The Friends of Mendon Elders Inc. will be sponsoring their ever-popular Progressive Yard Sale for the 21st year on Saturday, June 7th with a rain date of Sunday, June 8th. With over eighty homes and businesses participating last year in our delightful little town of Mendon, it has become a ‘yard salers’ paradise! Our town is buzzing with activity on that day—like bees to honey, but without the stings. All proceeds from this major fundraiser will go towards enhancing our facility and program development, and who doesn't love that?

We would love your support by advertising your fabulous local business in our Master List of Yard Sales Directory, which will be available on the day of the event. If you advertise in our Master List, we will also post the name of your business on our Senior Center Marquee along with other advertising supporters on a rotating basis throughout May, June, and July. Now that's a lot of marquee love!
