Ouais, je suis fière de vous! Yup, I'm proud of you!

On March 29 and March 30, 2022 54 students participated in the Grand Concours, an annual exam sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French (AATF).

This year, Weslaco East students earned 6 national rankings. Our students earned 5 bronze medals and 1 silver medal.

It is also worthy to note that 16 students received Honorable Mention.

In spite of the pandemic and all of the difficulties overcome in schools this past year, nearly 43,000 students in all 50 states competed in the 2022 event.

On March 10 and 11, 2020, 50 students participated in the Grand Concours, an annual exam sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French (AATF).

This year, Weslaco East students earned 5 national rankings. One of those was a gold medal and our gold medalist missed only 2 questions of the 70 question exam! It is also worthy to note that 14 students received Honorable Mention for their performance on this exam.
